Jane Peoples
Hi, my name is Jane. I am Irish and have been living in NZ since 2007 with my husband, our daughter and little dog, Rosie! I love the great outdoors and spend as much time as possible on the beach, in the forest or climbing hills! We are currently based on the South Island of NZ in the lovely Hanmer Springs.
I have been involved in the volunteer sector since my teens when I volunteered for the Special Olympics and my older sisters' Arch Club, a social club for people with Intellectual Disabilities.
I have used many tools for collating and managing volunteers over the years: from paper to spreadsheets to Google docs to Volgistics but in recent years I have had the pleasure of working with Better Impact both with Volunteer and Member Impact. I completed the Better Impact Consultancy course 2 years ago while continuing on in my current role as Database Administrator for IHC Volunteering. I also have a software development background having worked for a major Irish Insurance company prior to my overseas travels.
